The wood base is composed of 63 grams of preferred wood with horizontal grooves allowing for easier access by termites and maximum wood to soil contact. 

Purchasing this product will give you the wood bases you need for replacing the old ones in your Advance termite bait stations (sold separately). As your system ages you will need to refresh these wood monitors. Do not allow your wood monitors to turn black or moldy. If your stations are holding water you may want to find a dryer spot to move them too. Make sure you stay out from under your roofs drip line.
