Fleas are very annoying and can be tough to get rid of.  The pest control industry has used a tested 3 step method for getting rid of their customer's flea problems.  It consists of vacuuming, spraying, and treating your animal.

1. Vacuuming - Chemicals will not penetrate flea eggs.  That being said you must vacuum your ENTIRE house to pick up as many eggs as you can.  Even if you have tile or hardwood floors you must vacuum the entire house then take your vacuum outside and throw the bag away. If you have a bagless vacuum dump your vacuum's trash container into a grocery bag and dispose of it in your outside garbage bin. This is a very important step.
2. Spray - Point the cans down and coat your floors evenly throughout your house (read the can for more detailed instructions on the actual spraying part of this process.) You can also treat your furniture in the problem areas. When treating your home you must use 2 products : an insecticide and an IGR (insect growth regulator.)  The insecticide kills the adults while the IGR provides a solution to the soon to hatch eggs. It makes the next generation unable to reproduce. The idea is to break the reproduction cycle. This kit provides these two chemicals in a premixed aerosol called Precor 2000 ( | LABEL | MSDS | .) Easy to use and effective. One can treats 2000 sq. ft. We recommend treating twice, with the secong treatment coming a week after the first.  We also recommend vacating your house for 2 hours after treating.
3.
